Gaza: What do we do?

This short sequel to GAZA: A Story of Love and War, records the audience discussion with Ceredigion MP, Ben Lake, after the autumn 2024 screening of the documentary in Cardigan. Ben Lake reveals that no subject concerns his constituents more urgently than Gaza. Director Mike Joseph explores how Ben Lake works with many parties in parliament to push for decisive action on Israel and support for Palestinians.

At early screenings of the main film in England and Wales, audiences expressed the urgent need to do something – ‘but what can we do?’

That is why this 25 minute film sequel is titled GAZA: What Do We Do?

  • Plaid Cymru Foreign Affairs spokesperson commits to building a UK parliamentary coalition to press for justice for Palestine
  • Labour Foreign Secretary David Lammy declares he is “very comfortable” with UK arms support for Israel
  • Sami Abu Salem, star of the earlier film, makes a heartfelt plea for an end to bloodshed.
